BELIEFS
Anyone may attend Old Dutch Church and we hope that you will! We are a congregation of the Reformed Church in America which traces its roots back to the original Dutch settlers who first came to these shores. We are in communion with Reformed & Presbyterian churches throughout the world who formed part of the 16th century Reformation and whose spiritual father is John Calvin. We acknowledge the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be our rule in faith and practice; we celebrate the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion as living sign and seal of Christ’s presence among us. We confess our faith using the Apostle’s Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Heidelberg Catechism. The Reverend Kenneth L. Walsh is presently the minister of Old Dutch Church.
