60th ANNUAL LIVING NATIVITY

The Living Nativity at Old Dutch Church has been provided each December for the community for over 60 years. A stable is constructed in the church yard at the corner of Wall and Main Streets and live animals are brought in. Any child or adult is encouraged to participate by coming to the Church and getting dressed up as one of his or her favorite characters from the Nativity Story.

 

The Living Nativity is a unique opportunity to act out the miracle of Christmas! If you do not feel like participating in the performance of the Living Nativity, you can have as much fun as a spectator in the crowds which continue to gather every season to witness this great tradition. Candy canes, cookies and hot cocoa are provided for all making it easier to brave the cold weather! The Living Nativity is scheduled for December 11th, 2009. Performances are from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
