OLD DUTCH CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
Membership at Old Dutch Church is open to all who are seeking a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and who accept the free gift of salvation through him. Through the Spirit, we seek to serve God in all we do. The process begins with baptism. We accept the baptism of all Christian traditions and if one has never been, we baptize both adults and children of believers. In the Reformed Church in America, it is required that one parent of a child must be an active communicant member of the church. Confirmation is the personal affirmation of faith, of the promises made by the parents at baptism. This occurs typically around the age of thirteen, after a process of study and discernment.
